Vamporium x Mystery Control The Traveler's Protection Ankh - Deluxe Edition

Created to commemorate the 2024 Dracula Tour of Transylvania, The Traveler's Protection Ankh - Deluxe Edition is a Second Generation Standard Legacy Ankh featuring a Protection Gem and available in 925 Sterling Silver, "Black Metal" Sterling Silver and Rhodium Protected Sterling Silver ('Never Tarnish' 925 Sterling Silver).* All Protection Ankhs are made with Sterling Silver and adorned with a 3MM Protection gem: White Topaz, Red Topaz or Black Tourmaline.  *How big is the Ankh? It's 6cm high (2.36 inches) Each Ankh is custom made in Los Angeles. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. About Topaz - Topaz is a valuable gem for travelers seeking both style and protection. This powerful gemstone was highly revered by the Ancient Romans, who believed that it could defend against poison and issue a warning to the wearer by changing its color. Similarly, the Egyptians attributed the warm golden hue of topaz to the Sun God - Ra, making it a symbol of strength and protection. During the Medieval period, people even believed that wearing a topaz amulet on the left arm could ward off dark magic. Furthermore, topaz was thought to have healing properties, such as relieving arthritis pain, aiding in digestion and weight loss, and attracting love. In fact, some people believed that consuming a potion made with topaz could protect against and cure a wide range of illnesses. About Black Tourmaline - One of author and Good Witch Patti Negri's favorite Protection stones outside her beloved Amethyst. Black tourmaline is known for its protective properties, absorbing negative energy and providing a sense of safety and balance. The Legacy Ankh is a special version of the bladed ankh and is the sigilium which represents the virtues, teachings, traditions, culture and philosophy known as the Black Veils.  Some of the Black Veils include virtues like Immortality, Romance, Elegance, Seduction, Apotheosis, Music, Art, Decadence, Nightside, Dayside, Unity, Family, Magick, Dance, Civility, Hospitality, Honor, Diversity, Chivalry, Decadence and Xepher. In 1996, Master Metal Manipulator D’Drennan was commissioned by Father Sebastiaan to make an exclusive version of a bladed ankh to represent the Black Veils and the Legacy. Thus was born the Legacy Ankh, the most recognized international symbol in the Vampyre / Vampire Culture and community. This precious artifact is proudly worn proudly in public and openly in ceremony by Vampires and Black Swans to symbolize their Legacy and understanding of the Black Veils. THE ANKH The ankh, or in Latin the crux ansata (cross with a handle), was originally the Egyptian hieroglyph which meant “life”. Many ancient Egyptian artworks, especially funerary art, depict gods and pharaohs bearing this symbol. The ankh was also associated with Osiris, the god of death and rebirth, and ankhs were often placed with mummies in order to symbolically convey the gift of immortality. Over time the ankh came to symbolize immortality and can even be seen as a key to unlock the gates of death. The Rosicrucian tradition and members of Hermetic orders often use this symbol in their rituals. The Coptic Christians, also employed it as a symbol of life after death. Ankhs incorporating mirrors into their design have sometimes been used to symbolize perception of the subtle reality. The bladed ankh first appeared in popular culture in the 1983 film The Hunger, based on the vampire novel by Whitley Strieber and directed by Tony Scott. With its historical symbolism, cultural significance, and esoteric nature, the bladed ankh was the obvious and most common symbol for the Vampire.

About the Legacy Ankh: The Legacy Ankh is a special version of the bladed ankh and is the sigilium which represents the virtues, teachings, traditions, culture and philosophy known as the Black Veils.

First Generation "D" Ankh with Cabochon Garnet

L'Ankh
